Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ImMagga API and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Axel Ortega Cota, doing business as ImMagga ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You represent that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not permit those under 18 to use the Service.
1. The Service
ImMagga provides an HTTP API that generates Open Graph images from structured JSON input. You send a template name and data fields; we return a PNG image URL. Images are rendered server-side and cached for up to 30 days.
2. API Keys and Accounts
- To use the Service you need an API key, obtained via the website.
- Your API key is personal and confidential. Do not share it publicly or commit it to source control.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your key.
- If your key is compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected] for a replacement.
- We reserve the right to revoke any key that is being abused or used in violation of these Terms.
3. Plans and Billing
The Service is offered under the following plans:

- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are in USD.
- Render quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused renders do not roll over.
- Exceeding your monthly quota will result in a
429 Too Many Requestsresponse until the cycle resets or you upgrade. - Refunds. Because renders are consumed as they are generated, we do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice sent to your registered email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service for any lawful purpose. You may not:
- Use the Service to generate images that violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Generate, store, or distribute content that is defamatory, obscene, or that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or attack the API infrastructure.
- Resell or sub-license API access without prior written permission.
- Use automated scripts to artificially inflate render counts or bypass rate limits.
- Use the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users.
Violations may result in immediate key revocation and, where required by law, reporting to the relevant authorities.
5. Intellectual Property
- The ImMagga software, API, templates, and website are owned by ImMagga and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- The images generated by the API using your data are yours. We claim no ownership over the content of your rendered images.
- We may use anonymized, aggregate render statistics to improve the Service.
6. Availability and SLA
We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the API. Planned maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance. Actual uptime is tracked publicly at stats.uptimerobot.com/uVLe750JHc.
We do not guarantee specific response times beyond our stated < 200 ms median render target under normal load. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Axel Ortega Cota (d/b/a ImMagga) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer
The Service is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and defects, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties — whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements, achieve any intended results, be compatible with other software or services, operate without interruption, or be error-free. No information or advice obtained from us or through the Service creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axel Ortega Cota (d/b/a ImMagga) from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, any outstanding balance becomes immediately due.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States (México). Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of México.
12. Disputes Resolution
If you have any concern or dispute about the Service, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to respond within 10 business days.
13. Severability and Waiver
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any breach shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
